The Giant Bunny

The giant bunny stopped by my house Saturday night. He left me lots of candy, and a Roanoke Weiner Stand shirt. It was a good Easter.

And let's not forget what Easter is really about, because it is far greater then any of us can even imagine. I am so grateful for all that our Savior has done for me. I'm thankful for His continual guidance and love. I am grateful that he suffered for me in the garden. I know that I will be able to return to live with my Heavenly Father one day and that I can be with my family eternally. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testiment of Jesus Christ. I know that we have a modern prophet today on this earth to lead and guide us. I know that prayer is a direct connection between us and the Lord and that He will always answer our prayers. I am so grateful for all that I have been given.

snap goes the shutter

So recently I've been photographing. What you might ask? Well, everything. You see, I've been told by many good photographers that the only way to get better is to snap, snap, and snap your shutter.

So that's what I've been doing. I've been slaving (relishing) behind my camera lens and it has been wonderful. I mean, I may not be ready to do your wedding, but I am proud of the following.

sass a frass

You see this red-head right here?

I miss her stinkin-guts! I miss the "kind" words that would ALWAYS come out of her mouth :P I miss her hot-chocolate runs ;) I miss her coming home from school and being pissed off about the way someone was driving and "almost" killed her. I miss hearing her drop something in the shower. I miss that sass you see in the picture above. I miss coming home and watching cooking shows or sportscenter between classes. I miss going into her room and complaining. I miss staring at her creepily until she looks and starts laughing. I miss yoga where she would laugh at me when I couldn't do something. I miss her yelling at EE on the phone because he was being inconsiderate.

I MISS TERREN NICOLE DEAN!

Yes, I said it. I miss my besss frannn.

And this is us in a nutshell. I'm the goofy one, and she's the one that thinks I'm weird. We fit together like two peas in a pod.

And I love her.

screw lunch...

... i didn't really want lunch today.

So, I went swinging. I love to swing. I feel the most at peace when I'm there. And I decided that I need to be proposed to at a swing set. That'd be so cute. My favorite place to be.

And it'd be extra brownie points if it was at this swing set.

alright, alright, alright, alright alright....

HEY!
Okay, no. I still haven't heard from efy. (That was the efy cheer before.) I am GOING CRAZY. You just don't understand how frustrated I am. I just wanna know!!!!!

In other news, I got the new Harry Potter movie. I've already watched it twice since Friday. I have a problem. But, is it so bad that I find Ron kinda hot. Yes, he is a redhead. I already told you I'm attracted to them. Get over it.

I had like four friends get married this past weekend. Gosh, does that really inform you of how single you really are. SUCKSSSSSS. And the worst part is that they're all younger then me. Like, really? I was supposed to be getting married this year and then that part of my life came crashing to a hault. But, that was sad and I'd prefer not to relive my crying every night days. But, I am happy for them. They are all so in love and it's so cute to watch them. And especially my roommate, Sarah. I'm so glad that she married her missionary. So adorable. They're really cute together.

Sorry I don't have any pictures. I've been slacking in the picture department lately. I'll have to get back on that.

xoxo

stay tuned.

virginia

Sorry I haven't blogged at all this past week. It was a LONG week. It was full of cleaning, packing and final projects. It was very, VERY busy.

But, I AM HOME IN VIRGINIA FOR THE SUMMER! It is so nice to be home! I got to go to church in a real church building today. That sounds really lame, but when you go to church in random buildings you really appreciate a real church building. Also, I went to church a little early so that I could see ELDER WHITBY! It's so weird to think that Hunter's roommate from this past fall semester is now serving in my stake. WEIRD!

I came home to a new kitchen, and new tv. We FINALLY have a plasma, AND DVR! It was a very eventful day yesterday.

I decided to live at Tuscany again in the fall. I was gonna move to a new complex, but Tami told us that they're opening up Tuscany to boys in the fall, I changed my mind. Half the reason I was moving was because I was sick of the Rockland boys. I have YET to have a good ward with cute boys since I've lived at Tuscany. My fingers are crossed! Plus, we're getting free laundry and now I'm living with Terren again. BESTTTT FRIENDDDDD.

Anyway, I still haven't' heard from EFY and I'm getting really frustrated. I just really want to know what I'm going to be doing this summer! I guess the Lord is trying to teach me patience here and I'm trying REALLY hard. But I am human and it's starting to get really frustrated.

Anyway, I'm home for the summer and really excited!

PLEASE pray that I will hear from EFY this week. Thanks a bunch.

xoxo

stay tuned.

FUN FUN FUN FUN

This weekend was BOMB. My roommates and I took another little trip down to Utah for a fantastic weekend!

We left around four on friday afternoon. We drove to Salt Lake to see the Lakers vs. Jazz game. It was so fun, although we had nose bleed seats. (This didn't do well for me considering I hate heights. I got a little anxious...) I got to see LAMAR ODOM. (Gorgeous man candy :)) AND the Lakers won!

Let down of the game would have to be no seeing Khloe Kardashian there. :(

nose bleeds

Chelsea, Taylor and their friends

Final score!

Terren, Brook, Me and Kate

This was just super precious.

Saturday was spent at The Gateway shopping our hearts out. Okay, so maybe I had excellent self control and only bought a sweater (because I was cold) and a shirt that was on sale at JCrew. I also bought some perfume at Victoria Secret, but I had a gift card so it was free :) That night we went back to Terren's grandma's house and had an AMAZING dinner. (Grandma food is always the best!)

Sunday morning we woke up at the crack of dawn to go to the Sunday Morning Session of GENERAL CONFERENCE! This was my first time going and I was so excited. I had the cutest outfit picked out and everything. We left for Salt Lake around 8 because we were supposed to be in our seats by 9:30 or they would be released to the people waiting on stand-by. We would have plenty of time... except for the fact that we got stuck behind a seven car pile-up on I15. BOO.

We didn't arrive to Salt Lake until 9:45. Kate's mom drove us to the conference center so that we would make it there in time. Sadly, although we made it just in time, we no longer had our original seats. We were supposed to be on the bottom floor and were bumped up to the top tier, second to last row. To be honest, I was kind of angry. My mom had gone through so much to get me there tickets and then we aren't even able to sit where we're supposed to due to something out of our control. On a positive note, if we would have left just ten minutes earlier, we could have been in that seven car pile-up. We were definitely being looked after.

this girl can't take a good picture to save her life. poor thing. (the cute skirt I made)

Brook and Terren imitating a boy's (who will remain nameless) picture.

Plus Kate

And throwing in a picture of me purposely acting awkward :)

After Conference, we ate lunch at Sweet Tomatoes - delish. We then drove the 3 hours home. Ethan, Terren's brother, is lucky to still be alive. We could have all killed him.

Now, I'm sitting on my computer and listening to conference talks that I missed this past weekend. I gotta catch up on my favorite weekend of the year!

On a side note, I should hear from EFY this week. Fingers crossed that I get the job. (You cross your fingers, too!)

xoxo

stay tuned.
